Hi there! I’m Lydia — a licensed massage therapist from Wisconsin and the founder of Bodywork Supply.

Bodywork Supply was inspired by years of hands-on experience and conversations with fellow massage therapists about what we actually want from the products we use every day. I spent countless hours researching massage creams and lotions, hoping to find one that checked all the boxes for my own practice — something affordable, thoughtfully formulated, and gentle enough for long-term, daily use.

I was looking for a product made without common allergens like nuts and sesame, free from added fragrances and harsh preservatives, formulated with stable oils, and free from botanical extracts associated with contact dermatitis in people with sensitive skin. When I realized that product didn’t quite exist in the way I needed it to, I decided to create it myself.

As someone with a lifelong nut allergy who developed contact dermatitis during massage school, ingredient transparency has always mattered deeply to me. Massage therapists work with these products for hours every day, and I believe what we put on our skin should support our work — not complicate it.

I’ve been fascinated by entrepreneurship for as long as I can remember, and starting Bodywork Supply felt like the natural intersection of my professional experience and my desire to build something meaningful. Every product is designed with real-world use in mind.
